About
Paramjeet has been practicing law as an Advocate before the Supreme Court of India. He has an LL.M. from Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC), Germany. The MIPLC is a union of the Max Planck Institute of Intellectual Property and Competition Law; the George Washington University Law School (USA); University of Augsburg (Germany) and Technical University of Munich (Germany). Topic of his LL.M. thesis was: “Analysis of Standard of Investment Protection for Intellectual Property in case of the Australian Plain Packaging Legislation”. While serving as the Standing Counsel for the State of Haryana, he represented the State in litigations before the Supreme Court. He has published in international journals like European intellectual Property Review (Sweet & Maxwell Journal) and Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Practice (Oxford Journal). Spending a spring break with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Paramjeet gained international work experience. In his leisure, he likes trekking in the mountains and playing basketball.
